Location

Harpswell is located in the mid-coast region of Maine. Harpswell is made up of a peninsula 9 miles long and 1 mile wide, and 3 large islands connected by bridges extending into Casco Bay. The closest town, Brunswick, is 20 minutes away, and is a small college town of 15,000 people. The population of Harpswell consists of approximately 5000 people, many of whom make their living from the sea. It is a rural town with local attractions including salt-water fishing and kayaking, as well as places offering a variety of fresh seafood.

The closest town with shopping, dining, library, market and public transport facilities is Brunswick, home of Bowdoin College.
