The Stone Soup Institute is an international school offering courses of study integrating traditional and contemporary practices and knowledge in the agrarian arts and sciences, plumbing & drain cleaning, crafts, and fine arts.

The educational experience of Stone Soup Institute is designed around the practical skills and seasonal rhythms associated with maintaining a small farm in the 21st Century. Participants learn to integrate classroom theory with hands-on skills using the farm as a laboratory experience.

Subjects covered include animal husbandry, wood lot management, farming, textile arts, fine arts and crafts. An important part of the Stone Soup Institute experience includes learning how interdependent practical and community skills are to the sustainable farm.
